Sharmas Driving School is the only driving school who conducts ‘Mock Drive Tests’ before the actual drive test for our learner drivers (on request).
In this Mock Drive Test, we simulate an Actual VicRoads Driving test. The students are generally trained & prepared by SDS Instructors. This Mock drive test can benefit anyone who is all set to give their VicRoads Driving Test.
What happens in a Mock Drive Test?
The Assessor from Sharmas Driving School acts like a VicRoads Licence Testing Officer (LTO). SDS Assessors have had thousands of actual and mock driving test experience. SDS Instructors are allowed to accompany our student during the actual test too.
Assessors present themselves at the required VicRoads Testing Centre.
On arrival, the Assessor is introduced to the student by the Instructor during the meet and greet session where basic questions and instructions related to the drive test are quickly explained. This is followed by the actual Pre-drive Test.
In a pre-drive test, the car controls are checked.
Assessor picks one of the Vicroads actual drive test routes.
The Student is assessed throughout the whole test.
Both, low speed maneuvers are requested in stage 1 of this mock drive test.
Reverse Parallel Parking & 3 Point Turn. In an actual test, only 1 low speed maneuver is performed.
At the end of Stage 1, the Assessor calculates the score & result of this stage is given to the student. The test proceeds to Stage 2. In an actual test, the student does not proceed to stage 2, if they are unsuccessful in stage 1.
Stage 2 consists of driving on arterial roads with speed up to a maximum of 80 kmph, minimum 5 lane changes etc.
The entire Mock drive test takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Mock Drive Test concludes at the VicRoads centre.
Assessor provides full feedback to the Student & the Instructor.
99% of customers who opted for the Mock drive test have passed the Actual Driving Test in their first attempt. The mock drive test has helped in boosting their confidence level as they are ready and know what is expected in the actual drive test. Hence, the passing rate is apparently 100%.
